Slice of life

Who needs pictures when you've got your own little sketch artist in the classroom (thanks again for the picture Tonhom). It's all there: the whiteboard, the math problem, the picture of the King, Buddha aad the flag, the vocab, the fans, the teaching assistant, the sleeping student and of course me.

Meanwhile on the other side of the world, my grandfather died. That stuff can't be sketched. Don't know exactly where you are, but see you around and take care now you hear?

Het is wit en het draagt een grote gele kaars...

Pinksteren en pasen heb ik dit jaar maar overgeslagen. In dat grote paashaaspak stik je hier toch binnen 3 seconde de moord. En de chocoladeeieren... Daar wordt je niet vrolijk van. Vooral ook omdat niemand het begrijpt en ze gillend weg rennen voor een bruingevlekte maloot in een enorm paars pak. Daarom maar gewoon waikruh (lerarendag) en (deze week) het begin van de Boedhistische lente ofzo gevierd. Met kleine kinderen betekent dat: witte kleren aan. Deze foto's zijn dus niet van een soort kleuter Sensation White. Dat je het weet.

Actual proof

Don't try to deny it: you are reading this. And that means we finaly proved it. A website can still have visitors after nothing has happened on the homepage for about a month. There is life after no updates. Well, I'm glad. And I am still very much alive thank you very much. Very alive and very busy trying to give 30 hungry little minds the knowledge that they so deperatly crave and rightly deserve. All this amidst the daily downpores, thunderstorms and blackouts that go with the rainy season. Anyway, just to keep you in the loop: since the last update we have been strutting our stuff in fronth of the classroom, we have been to a Thai funeral, we have been making ourf own worksheets, we done wai kru day, I've cut my hair and were going to Bangkok for a couple of days next week. So call it in: sushi, movies, burgers, books and alike be ware!
